Refunds

Policy and Process

To receive a refund for a course you have enrolled in, unenroll from the course within the refund eligibility period - 14 days after your purchase date or 14 days after your course starts, whichever comes later*.  

Note: Refunds are not available after you have earned a Statement of Accomplishment.

The refund is processed immediately when you unenroll within the refund window. Once processed the funds will post back to your original payment account in about 5 to 10 days, depending in your bank's processes and location.

If you’ve received an error message about your refund after unenrolling from a course, please contact UC San Diego Online billing.

*(Up to a maximum of 120 days after your payment, due to credit card processing limits.)
